MagStrainer H2

Industrial

MagStrainer H2

Description

The MagStrainer H2 is designed for large and small commercial and industrial systems and removes nearly 100% of magnetite and other unwanted debris from hydronic systems. The filter utilizes powerful Neodymium high intensity magnetic rods. Designed to be an inline filter, the H2 gets installed on the return circuit close to the boiler as the system water flows back. The H2 captures visible and microscopic magnetite (iron oxide) and other non-magnetic contaminants (scale) and collects them in the filter. On larger systems, units may also be installed elsewhere to offer extra protection for radiators and piping.

Put a Stop to Destructive Corrosion and Heating System Damage

The MagStrainer H2 filter captures existing contamination, prevents further buildup, increases system efficiency thus lowering costs, protects boilers and ECM heat pumps, prevents “cold spots” in the systems, extends the long term life of these systems, and reduces maintenance overall.

How it Works

The core feature of the H2 is a set of powerful, high intensity magnetic rods. As the water flows through the filter, magnetite along with other matter gets drawn to the magnets and collects around the thin channels around the magnets. The water continues to flow through. The H2 is easily cleaned. Periodically the black sludge caught on the magnets gets removed by either easily removing the magnets or by blowing out the sludge through a drain valve.
